Custom build or internet purchase, we offer full builds to your specification; either supplying the parts required or fitting your own parts.

We can supply all the leading brand components and build to a high quality.

Internet purchases are built and checked to ensure safety and conformity to ISO, as well as the items listed below:

Home Bike Build Service Includes: 

1. Pre-booked home visit appointment
2. Correctly position bars and stem, and tighten to correct torque settings
3. Adjust position of bar levers
4. Pedal threads greased and fitted
5. Ensure tyres seating correct and fitted with correct rotational direction
6. Inflate tyres to correct pressure
7. Check spoke tension and wheels are true, ensuring they are securely attached
8. Make sure wheel hubs rotate freely, with no side play
9. Check and adjust headset free play
10. Check cable routing (with UK brake position)
11. Ensure seat and seat post are adjusted to rider and secure
12. Check crank bolts, where applicable
13. Check chainring bolts, where applicable
14. Set front and rear derailleur limit screws
15. Adjust cable tension to ensure smooth indexing of gears
16. Set up brakes in line with manufacturer recommendations
17. Check pad alignment and adjust as necessary
18. Check cables for smooth running and lubricate as necessary
19. Any suspension bikes correctly set to rider’s weight/style and pivot bolts torqued
20. Fit reflectors and bell (bikes have to be fitted with bells, but there is no legal requirement to use them once on the road!)
21. Fit and adjust any additional components, as required
22. Ensure all additional bolts are correctly tightened
23. Test ride and riding position fine tuned, any functions explained
24. Manual/tools/instructions presented and bike signed for
